Mystery.org started with a vision: helping kids find answers to their questions about the world--answers that wow them and encourage them to keep exploring. This is how Mystery Science was born: a K-5 science curriculum that is built around questions kids actually ask and that makes learning engaging and fun for kids and teachers alike. We built on that early success with mini-lessons, 5-minute videos that answer real kid questions, and with Top 5 bonus content, which use wow visuals to stoke curiosity and help kids from all backgrounds build background knowledge.

In 2020, Mystery Science joined the Discovery Education family, with the goal of bringing the Mystery magic to more content across more subjects.

Across our products, we now reach about 4 million kids regularly and support more than 200,000 teachers. Teachers and students in about 50% of US elementary schools experience Mystery Science.

We continue to invest in our flagship product Mystery Science and we’re excited to work on new products and to partner with the Discovery Education global team to explore international opportunities.
